Director of Financial Planning, Research & Analysis
Mackenzie began her career in institutional structured fixed income, working on Wall Street during the credit crisis. She has since gained experience in consulting, wealth management, and even founded and run a general contracting business. Her diverse background equips her with the knowledge, experience, and resources to effectively serve Bowersock clients in particularly complex or unique situations.
Mackenzie is actively involved in the community, serving on several non-profit boards including the Midland Festival Ballet and Midland Montessori School. She has also been invited to develop and teach a financial literacy course at her alma mater, Rice University, beginning in the fall of 2025. Originally matriculating as a chemical engineering major and surviving Honors Organic Chemistry under the renowned Dr. Jim Tour, Mackenzie ultimately graduated with a degree in Economics. She was also a proud member of the Rice Crew team.
Mackenzie currently resides in Midland, TX, with her husband and two sons. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and the fine arts.
